ABOUT
Andy Moore is a staunch advocate for democracy and diplomacy, for civil and voting rights, and for making your corner of the world a better place. As a Licensed Professional Counselor for more than 10 years, he knows that taking the time to listen and build relationships with others will pave the way to a stronger Oklahoma.
Andy received a B.S. in Psychology and M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University, as well as an MBA from the University of Oklahoma. His early professional experiences in mental health and public health highlighted the need for common-sense public policy that empowers people, not holds them back.
In 2016, Andy founded Let’s Fix This as a way to encourage civic engagement and promote good policy in Oklahoma. He now also serves as the Executive Director of the National Association of Nonpartisan Reformers, a network of organizations and supporters of pro-voter democracy reform throughout the country.
Previously, Andy served as the Executive Director of Freedom of Information Oklahoma. In 2019, he founded People Not Politicians, a grassroots movement to end gerrymandering by creating an independent redistricting commission in Oklahoma.
Andy is a member of his local neighborhood association and serves on the board of directors for FOI Oklahoma and the Oklahoma chapter of Generation Citizen, and is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Tom Love Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business. He is a political commentator on KOSU’s weekly radio segment and podcast, This Week in Oklahoma Politics, and also hosts Let’s Pod This, a weekly podcast produced by Let’s Fix This.
Andy lives in Oklahoma City with his wife and three fantastic kiddos, and enjoys woodworking, running half marathons, eating tacos, and supporting public education.
